We decided to make use of the delightful early morning by taking a walk along the Edgbaston Reservoir in the heart of Birmingham
there was no man-made noises around , just the nature ...birds singing in the trees , some wind rustling some leaves above , a trickle of the stream , all in the middle of this massive city !
As we walked on we remarked on how low the water level was in the reservoir at this time of the year , normally it's high and sometimes splashing over the footpath .
This made it look more like some scene along the coast with a sloping sandy beach.
No doubt this could lead to the dreaded hose ban in the coming summer month of August.
