A birthday party is not complete without a birthday cake. Unfortunately, by the time she arrived in the house, the cake had no arrived.
Therefore, we had to distract her and keep her away from the kitchen until the cake gets here. However, we did not have to do much distracting,
because she was emotional and all teary because of the surprise party we had thrown for her.
After I handed my friend my gift (the phone), she go so emotional to a point that she needed a moment to calm down.
To me it was a very special moment that I got to gift my best friend on her birthday and at the same time get her something that she really needed.
After a few minutes, she came back to the living room where we had everything set. She was gifted more presents by the other friends.
There is one friend that gifted her a brand new MacBook. To be honest, the surprise birthday party turned out to be pretty great than I anticipated.
Before, the cake arrived, she had to freshen up and get ready for her birthday party.
In the meantime, we kept calling the cake guy to make sure the cake will be ready and delivered on time.
Luckily, the baker did exactly what we ordered. The cake was perfect, and was delivered on time.
By the time she was ready, the room was lit in all kinds of birthday party lights and the birthday candles were all lit.
She was turning 24, and it was a great way to welcome her to a new age. To her surprise, we ordered her favorite cake, and that was like “the cherry on top of the cake” for her.
We ended up having a great time. Because of the covid-19 curfew, we had to spend the night at my friend’s house.
This was the best birthday party I have attended since covid-19 struck the world.
