Today is my 37th birthday!
If you asked me a month ago how I felt about it I would have told you that its way too close to forty and its daunting as hell. But a lot has changed in the last month. First of all we had recently invested in a suite of Crypto and it tripled in value, even with the pre Christmas "crash" and second through that investment, we found Steemit, this awesome community based social media platform that aims to pay you for the effort you put in. Now everything isn't without its flaws and I'm not stupid, not all Crypto's will survive, but some will which gives me faith that my aim to be retired from my traditional job as an accountant by the age of forty is back on the cards, making it a whole heap less daunting and opening up the future to endless possibilities.
BRING ON 40 I SAY!

Meet my sister Shada, she is pretty awesome! She has lost over 40 kilograms in the last 5 months, shedding half her clothing size. Next to me is some amazing balloon flowers made by the mother of a fantastic young ostomate, who dedicates her time an skills to the ostomy association
My sister took me to the movies for some popcorn and choc top combo. We went to see The Greatest Showman on Earth. I thought it was lovely, made me happy and sad cry, but that doesn't take much these days.
This is the amazing gift that a beautiful ostomate friend made for me, not only did she knit the shoal, she spun the wool herself. I was super impressed. She was so lovely when she gave it to me she told me it was for when ever I needed a hug. She was right it hugs you perfectly.

Hey, thanks for the upvote 40% is better than 0%. It was a fun day. Curation still eludes me. I knmow something about not voting on someone's post in to 27mins or something and that may change with the hard fork coming but not much else. I don't know if that 27min counts if you upvote yourself etc. Do you have run down for me?

Oh, I do know an article about that but I still find it pretty complicated to curate efficiently, but if you succeed, you can earn Steem Power only by upvoting at the right time for the right article. You can read that article when you have time, at least as an information it may be useful :)

Thanks @mejustandrew I did stumble across that when I first searched curation but didn't understand it at all. Re reading it now it makes little more sense which much be good as it means I am understanding steemit it more everyday. Give me 6 months and I hope to be ofay woth most of the key ins and outs. 😁
