He was asked about Steemit few weeks ago, but he remained cautious about it. He believes that timing is everything if Steemit were to spread.

I don't really agree with him because I believe video (like Dtube and Viewly) will be the decisive factor to attract people and use the platform.

Writing content is hard for most people, video is more attractive to new creators and youtubers. If gamers start uploading their videos here, other video creators will follow and that will be the decisive factor.

andreas also seems to have no clue about anything outside of mining...

He has been so difficult to get to ever say anything positive about DPOS (what steem used to replace mining). but as the very same time has no issue talkinga bout the problems bitcoin has to overcome. quite odd if you ask me....that the solution is in front of his face...but he speaks nothing of it.

Made me lose alot of respect for him sadly. But i still like his logo :)

Well, you are a legend like him, set up a lunch and hash it out man!

LOL

I enjoyed listening to your interview about your life and stuff a couple weeks back, I think it was on @patelincho's page???

I really liked learning a bit more about you. That solid raspy voice reminds me of some of my baseball coaches LOL.

(:

yeh i sound like i smoke cigarettes all the time but i dont :P

TBH though Dan is the Legend. He is the "blockchain yoda"...im blessed to be able to add even a fraction of the value he does.

I've always said I think he is a genius.

People in my life outside of here, ( my posts being flagged and all) -- have asked me about Dan --- so I am able to teach them a bit of what I know about him, his life/liberty/property beliefs, his dad and his projects he has worked on.

I cannot imagine it is always easy being some sort of genius.

So you should both tell your story LOL.

(:

I think he's been "long bitcoin" for a long time. He tries to remain objective and I respect him for that but unfortunately his human nature forces him to be biased.

Incentives are usually what form opinions.

this is definitely part of it. I have partially had these issues i've faced myself. but i do honestly think this tech is some of the best in the world...and who is in a better place to get super rich than people like Andreas who have had years to get in cheap??? D:
