hey steemit, sorry for the long title, just trying to get the most info out the best way so the most good can come of this as possible.....We understand that the coins might just be gone....but we ave hope that people can be good people if given the chance.... (sorry it was .377 btc sent or $671 not .475btc )
my friend accidentally sent some bitcoin to what she thought was her exchange bitcoin address 17oAxc3koemXenkcnbrthpLYSRwmLdo7Fh but this was not her btc address it was heer FLDC deposit address, she accidentally copied her folding coin deposit address, sent over $671 or .377 btc or her whole paycheck to this address on accident and it confirmed and i looked it up and I tracked it on block explorer 17oAxc3koemXenkcnbrthpLYSRwmLdo7Fh
and when u search it on blockexplorer
https://blockexplorer.com/address/17oAxc3koemXenkcnbrthpLYSRwmLdo7Fh
and as I track this wallet, I can see that ALL of the money is still sitting there! I am seeing past transactions from this wallet of , $175 or .098 BTC was spent at this btc walllet 1GH9RbZuq4dsq6GCrGSgEqLfFnY6zHWmab which does not show up on google..i had to get to the one associated with mr Yaqub as reported here in this bitcointalk.org forum post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1564499.270 But this just means that this wallet sent money to another wallet which eventually sent money probobly to Jawad Yaqubs RazorMind Crowdfund?
But I can see unrelated transactions of this walllet leading to a walet with over 240 btc and i looked u p the address and it is Jawad Yacub and i looked him up and hes a big bitcoin player right? Maybe I am reading this wrong and someone just spent the BTC i sent on a wallet who then spent it here

someone with 99 BTC
then a few more transactions and hitting that ">" button nd i end up here

244 BTC and THIS address matches with Jawad Jaqub
I feel like a cyber crypto detective at this point, a bad one but one nonetheless)
I promise it wast me and I am not just using that old "hey a friend did this to cover up my own stupidity, nope, i even warned her about this and to use the address book coinbase provided her....I cant have people thinking i would be this careless..and i scolded her about how careless se must have been for this to have happened! I have the first few letters of my poloniex btc deposit address MEMORIZED! if I dont recognize the first few characters of the address I immediately know something is wrong! Also I have my wallet address book setup!
Whats funny is that maybe this guy wet around registering a bunch of bitcoin wallet addresses just incase someone accidentally sends him money like what we just did, to profit off human error!?
when I look at blockchainexplorer I see .377 BTC still sitting there https://blockexplorer.com/address/17oAxc3koemXenkcnbrthpLYSRwmLdo7Fh
if you could come forward, whowever you are, my friend is a single mom struggling to get by and she realy needs that back, even if you could send part of it back it would be greatly apreciated...
It sucks to introduce someone to bitcoin, have them win real well over the last few weeks, and then loose everything from one simple mistake.....I think it was a crazy coincidence that her folding coin deposit address matched someones existing bitcoin wallet address but I guess its not that crazy, theres millions of wallets...if it hadnt confirmed maybe we could have cancelled it on coinbase end
But if you can hear me, whoever you are 17oAxc3koemXenkcnbrthpLYSRwmLdo7Fh Please, please if you could contact us or by texting or calling me (619)302-0398 or emailing me [email protected] we can 100 percent confirm it was us (or her coinbase) who sent this .377 BTC ..... Any support would be greatly appreciated...i can provide proof of everything ..just wanna post this quick before they spend the .377! EDIT: 1 day later and it seems that .377 is still there! Good sign right?
thank you everyone...this would really be a HUGE win for bitcoin community(but more so for my friend lol) if we ad a record of someone getting their money back after a screw up like this which are bound to happen more and more as the yahoo.com crowd joins in ..thank god for steemits name system! This type of stuff cant really happen (at least not very easily)
Maybe I should email poloniex to put big warning sings around NON bitcon deposit addresses that just says "THIS IS NOT A BITCCOIN ADDRESS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR BITCOIN DEPOSIT ADDRESS DO NOT USE THIS ONE" however I believe they have something like that already? Maybe it needs to be bigger an more red on all the non bitcoin deposit addresses that LOOK just like bitcoin deposit addresses like apparently foldingcoin which uses the same system
Was this pure chance it confirmed and ended up in an existing bitcoin wallet? Or did someone register a bunch of bitcoin wallets in the hopes of this happening? How would I find that out Where would I start with the math Total number of bitcoin address combinations? And then maybe find the overlap between foldingcoin addresses and bitcoin addresses?
id like to mitigate these problems from happening in the future...if it happened once it will happen alot more when the normies and yahoo.com and aol subscribers join (amazing that AOL is still around right?)
I just wanna get this out there ASAP! I hope someone can come forward....it would be a huge win for the BTC community..even getting a portion of it back would be great....and of course I would give her any steem i make here an if she gets it back id donate this steem
Thanks
and like i said , we wouldnt mind if we only got back the .377 i think thats a pretty good reward for returning lost btc, if you are nice enough to consider this like that, (we fuly understand that its our fault and its legally yours, i assume, but yeah we hope you do the right thing and return what you can, of course you can choose your own reward if that makes it easiier for you to make that decision to give up this money, but my friend is a striggling single mom who cant barely pay her bills and has an 11 year old daughter and my friend even works 2 jobs so this was a whole paycheck for her and she cant afford it and we beg of you to return the btc if you canread this, thanks..i am hoping there is good out there ..mush pain but there is still time...conduit closing...
Good luck friend
