The newly appointed chairperson of the Malta Bankers Association, Marcel Cassar said that Blockchain technology sounds like a banker's dream. He also said that cryptocurrency are "here to stay".

Cassar also said that banking industry has to keep up with the new world of digital currency. He also called Blockchain technology a "total game changer". He also point out that blockchai is a foundational technology that can create new platform for economic infrastructure.
Cassar notes that cryptocurrency are risky because of their volatility. Cryptocurrency need some regulations
