I'm curious how people are storing their bitcoins.
Is anybody using coin base or blockchain wallets? Or is there a better 3rd party option? Which is most trustable and do any 3rd parties offer any insurance?
If using your own wallet, which version are you using? Any experiences with the light- version that doesn't require a complete download of the blockchain.
Is anybody cold storing their coins? How?
Thanks for your replies.
I use Electrum, not having to download the entire blockchain is a great benefit, as well as easy wallet recovery with a random string of words (this came in handy for me lately after a bad hard drive crash).

You can use Trezor or Ledger to cold store your bitcoins. It's like your own bank at home, but not insured.

I'm interested in these. Are you using one? Could you make a recommendation about either? Thanks

Supposedly Trezor is more secure from the reviews I've read.
