Did Crypto take the number one position against fiat?

The dollar is down again this morning but the metals are doing nothing. Interesting Robinhood allows crypto buys and the price of all crypto has risen. My question to everyone did crytpo just take the place of gold as a hedge against fiat devaluation? However, the metals are manipulated and once the manipulation ends they may see a incredible rise as they are very hated by wall street.
