On Wednesday, November 29, just 24 hours after the psychological barrier of $ 10,000 was taken, the price of the first crypto currency continued its impressive growth, exceeding the $ 11,000 mark as a result.

As of 12:50 UTC, the weighted average bitcoin rate was $ 11,153.50 with a capitalization of $ 186 billion.

At the time of publication, not all exchanges, however, took this barrier. Bitmap, Bitstamp and GDAX were found close to the $ 11,000 mark, but on such sites as Gatecoin, Quoine, CEX.io and several others, trades are already above $ 11,100.

The increase in the bitcoin rate is attributed by a number of experts to the influx of new money to the market and the expectations of the rapid launch of futures for the first crypto currency at the Chicago-based CME Group.

Since the beginning of the year, bitcoin has risen more than 11 times. The total market capitalization of the Crypto currency exceeded by November 29 $ 338 billion.

Recall, on the eve of the billionaire Mike Novograts expressed confidence that at the end of 2018 the price of bitcoin could easily reach $ 40,000.
