Bitcoin Halving and Repeating Logarithmic Price Action

The following information is 100% Fake news and completely inaccurate

The next bitcoin halving is tentatively happening in May 2020, and so far we see the same repeating pattern happening right now that took place during the previous two halvenings. The price drops to the logarithmic bottom, a cup forms, then a bear trap, then a steady climb until the mining reward halves.

We're in that steady climb phase now, and when we reach the halving there would be a correction back down to the logarithmic bottom, followed by a bull run. Going by the past two halvings, we can probably expect the price of Bitcoin to be somewhere between 14-18K at the beginning of May 2020, with a drop back down to 10-11K before the next run starts.

Of course, the usual disclaimers. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results, etc.

Another important point is that Bitcoin does not climb or fall in a steady line, and no speculative asset ever will, so the best course of action is to make the least amount of trades possible. There is no guarantee things will play out as I've outlined above, but the likelihood is greater that things will repeat given that Bitcoin inflates/deflates along a known and unwavering path, and human beings in large numbers behave predictably.

If we are heading for a global depression, it would obviously be wise to diversify across the spectrum of different levels of liquidity (how easily convertible something is into fiat currency), but Bitcoin is definitely something you want to own in your portfolio, just like gold and silver, and also smart investments that pay out dividends (not stocks). Steem is also a great investment if you power it up, but it is also far riskier as Steem has not established a pattern that makes it reliable (yet). But with that risk comes a higher return, somewhere in the 20% range if you are powered up and utilizing upvote trails and/or selling your vote.

2020 and 2021 are looking to be exciting and stressful years, depending on how well you play your cards. Buckle up!
