You will be redirected to a new page and we apologize if the currency amount changes due to an error. Just enter again the amount you want to buy keeping in mind that there are minimum amounts. An amount that is too low will not be accepted.
Once you enter the currency amount, the crypto amount will be automatically calculated for you. If you don’t have a wallet address, click on the green link that says “don’t have one?”
You will be redirected to a reputable online wallet called FreeWallet.org with a cold storage vault. Click here to learn how to start an account on FreeWallet and access your crypto address.
In this tutorial, we are buying Ethereum, the 2nd biggest crypto after Bitcoin.
Go back to the Changelly page and enter your Ethereum Address by Ctrl V or Right Click Paste on Windows OS.
Enter your personal details and note that my Google Voice phone number did not work for the phone verification. I had to use a regular mobile phone number.
Enter the 4 digit code that is sent to your phone and click on the verification email link that was sent to you. Click on the green “verify” button and then click “continue”.
Once you click on the link that was emailed to you, click on the green continue button.
Enter Your Payment Details and Click On “Pay Now”
Enter Your ID Details and Upload a picture of the front side of your ID by clicking “select file” and Click “Upload Document”.
I took a picture of my passport with my phone camera and emailed it to myself, then downloaded the photo to my computer by accessing my email on my computer. The photo must be between 300kb and 4mb in size. Click here to resize your image.
This is a real pain, but it is for your security and ensures that criminals and scammers do not take advantage of the system.
At this point it may take some time, do not close the window.

I received an email that said: “This verification process usually takes up to a few hours, however at periods of high demand it can take between 24–72 hours”.
I also had to reupload a new document because my first one was not accepted. I believe because it was over 4mb in size but it could have been to a browser issue. If you have the same problem, use a different browser. The photo must be between 300kb and 4mb in size. Click here to resize your image.

After your transaction completes, go to your wallet to check that your funds are there.
If it was ETH that was sent, you can track the transaction using https://etherscan.io/
Other cryptos have similar services for tracking transactions. This is one of the great benefits of blockchain compared to the traditional financial system.
You can then transfer the funds to a more secure wallet, pay for goods and services, send friends money, or transfer the funds to an exchange and exchange it for other cryptos.
