Fear and uncertainty would provide us some really good options to strengthen positions in the coins we like. My personal picks despite the bearish market are:

GVT - Uptrend, low total supply
DGD - Always does well when market is bearish
XMR - March 14th will be the airdrop for MoneroV

    I'm always wary of forks so i'll need to look into it more.
