Am I wasting my time tracking the convergence of Bitcoin and the CME Futures?

I don't know much about futures, but watching them since January gives a pretty good indication of where BTC will be at 1600 ZULU or 11 am Eastern US. I am preparing to buy on Friday if the same pattern that has been emerging happens.
