Alt coins on the Internet: Part IV: Freebitco.in

Welcome to the fourth part of our miniseries called Altcoins on the internet. Today I would like to introduce interesting page called freebitco.in (my referral link or clean link). I mentioned it in previous posts, Alt coins on the Internet: Part I: Faucets and Alt coins on the Internet: Part III: Online Betting. This website provides more services, so, let's describe them.

Brief intro

First of all, this website is live since 2013 and it is still here, which might look like a reliable service. But every time you are giving your altcoins somewhere you should be very careful. Even more trustful services were hacked or suddenly closed without no compensation. This site is owned by company called InterGlobal Limited which is registered in Belize. Is it scary? Well, it is live since 2013 and still working. Only thing you need to register there is your e-mail, nothing more, easy enough to at least try that. Faucet

Faucets were described in Alt coins on the Internet: Part I: Faucets, but as brief recapitulation, we can say that faucets are giving us small rewards for solved captcha. As you can see on the picture, you have a chance to win bigger rewards if you are lucky and get higher number. Each time you will get reward in the way of a few satoshi, you also get 2 tickets to their lottery a 2 extra reward points. With these points you can claim some rewards, but I will describe that later.

Hi-Lo game

Hi-Lo game, somewhere called Dice game, is a great way how you can easily win or loose your Bitcoins. Rules are very simple. There are generated random numbers and you can try to guess, if the next number will be higher or lower then threshold from the given interval (as you can see on the picture, there is interval [4750, 5250]). You can set the interval wider to increase the amount to win, but also the probability to win will get lower.

What might be interesting, you can set a few parameters and let the game play automatically, but be careful. Of course you can stop the Auto Play option. For every 1000 Satoshi you bet, you will get 1 lottery ticket and 1 reward point.

Earn interests

There is an option to earn some interest if you will earn or deposit there over 30,000 Satoshi (0.0003 BTC) The value of current interest is 4.08%. Which is much more than I have in my bank, on the other hand, I guess this is not as safe as bank should be:) Interest is paid every day to your account.

What is interesting is, that you will get 25% of interests, which they will pay to your referral. So, if you are lucky and some Bitcoin whale will become your referral... just joking :)

Lottery

This lottery is really interesting. There is winner in every round which is very interesting idea. And no, I was not lucky to win anything in the lottery. But keep trying :) You can get tickets for faucet or for playing Hi-Lo game, but of course you can buy more tickets for your satoshi. Price for one ticket is 2 satoshi.

The lottery is drawn every week on Sunday, if you would like to be part of that and you are not sure when will be next round, you can find there countdown.

Rewards

If you are dedicated Hi-Lo player and claiming rewards from faucets as much as you can (I wonder how much time and satoshi it must cost) there is the reward system for you, where you have option to exchange your reward points for very interesting items.

For example electronics as iPhone 7 Plus (13M points), Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (10.3 M points) or hardware wallets as Trezor (1.5M), gift cards or bonuses for activities connected with freebitco.in services.

Of course it has referral program, where you can get some bonuses like extra % satoshi for claiming reward from faucets etc. I my own opinion, this site is very interesting and offers interesting services like rewards or possibility to earn interests. But do not forget, as always, every time you are sending your altcoins somewhere, where you can not control them, be very careful.
