Coinbase advertising is already shown on Instagram

The social network for sharing images and videos owned by Facebook Inc. is once again showing advertising related to exchange and trading of cryptocurrencies by the Exchange based in San Francisco, California. They have also launched a promotion allowing users who register through the advertising link, get $ 10 free with a minimum deposit of $ 100.

Coinbase is one of the leading exchanges in the United States and the first to be listed among the "Trusted Exchanges" according to Facebook. At the moment Coinbase has started advertising on the Instagram platform but it is expected that in the next few hours it will move to Facebook as well.

Returning months ago, Facebook had announced the ban of cryptocurrencies or any other derivative. This is due to the large number of people cheated by the initial sale of cryptocurrencies (ICOs).

Months later the Giant of the social networks announced that, after a detailed study they had determined to enable advertising for cryptocurrencies again. However this time, companies should comply with a requirements form to prove they were legitimate and reliable companies.

On the other hand Facebook maintains that, ICOs and CFDs are still prohibited in their platform for any company.

Among the rumors circulating around this new decision by Facebook is the possible creation of its own cryptocurrency or the acquisition of the Coinbase exchange in the coming months.
