Turn Your Mine Into A Central Heating System
Two guys from Siberia have come up with this clever idea and made a prototype house. Bitcoin mines are used to heat the house and they want to expand the idea to other houses en mass.

The idea really is cool but when you really think about it it shouldn't be such a surprise. The principles are basic thermodynamics, then starting thinking about maximising efficiency around the whole house. You certainly can't say no to a few bitcoin mines earning a bit of money and at the same time saving you money.
Ofcourse it does depend on a colder climate and access to cheap electricity. I wonder how it works though when coupled together with solar panels, wind generators and if it's possible to run from mainly renewable energy.

Yea, but if new miners come out, you have to completly replace it.
