Not sure I follow the logic

A world where the standard monetary store of value is not dependent or controlled by governments, removing their ability to inflate it and use it to fund war and create bubbles, is a better world.

Except now with "altcoins" there is no reason to hold bitcoin except for sentimental value. It is infinite digital money.

Here is another way to think about Bitcoin: If it loses its utility due to small blocks will there be a demand for 17 million outstanding Bitcoin

That's the same for every coins. The blocks wouldn't be the reason bitcoin would lose its value. That’s because there isn’t any logic. Logic and reasoning aren’t Bcashers common attributes.

Small blocks are an artificial cap on block space, they inhibit growth and stunt demand which spill over to more useful coins i.e. Bitcoin Cash.
