Doc Brown's Lab Experiments with Multiple Bitcoins

So if we put our btc on bitshares will we get at least both coins (btc bcc?), and maybe even the superior third coin? Or should we offline wallet it? Any suggestions? I've asked around if we will be able to split our btc if we leave them on bitshares but haven't got a good answer yet. Thanks in advance!

My understanding so far is that in order to get your BTC.BTS (fast Bitcoin) you need to hold your BTC in a bitcoin wallet that you control your private keys.

Correct. Do what the BCC guys are saying and keep your bitcoins in one of the bitcoin wallets designed to let you keep control of your private keys. The BitShares chain will let you use those same keys to unlock accounts on the BitShares network holding your fast bitcoins -- if Doc is successful with his Big Heroic Audacious Goal (BHAG).
