    Stay active and you will notice your followers increase on it's own. upvote is kind of like Liking a post, and everyone's upvote will give a certain amount of money based on the voting power. Whatever earnings you make today, you get 7 days from now.... and so forth. So there is like a week's delay, which I think is alright. I hope this helps.
