Great post and very intriguing. More and more, I find myself wondering about what has been kept from people. What great wisdom and knowledge was lost when the great library of Alexandria was burned? What was lost in the fire and why? Today, artifacts are being and have been destroyed by certain groups in Iraq and Syria. What great insights are being wiped from discovery? And is it all intentional?
I wonder about our digitalization as well. With US law looking at significantly changing net neutrality laws, what kind of future is really in store? In ten years, will we be reminiscing about the time when you could look up anything on the internet for free? What if it is all shut down, locked up and controlled?
We don't really know what the specific manipulations of the bitcoin and alt prices have been. We know they exist and the level of disinformation being employed on social media is massive. That's a weapon most are unaware of. We get caught up in the details of a particular thread and before we know it, confusion sets in. Some of us fight back, leveraging our passion in a fight that only exists to cause us to fight. Some of us move into disinterest. What's the real goal? To manipulate attention? To shift focus?
It all seems impossible to know. Is Bitcoin as it is known today, the real thing that we all have hoped and dreamed for? The path to freedom that we all need? What about Bitcoin Cash? I think one could go on and on down this path and only find that they've been lead into a maze with no exit. I've found myself struggling with the question, what is value? It seems like we've been deceived and controlled for so long that we are all just massively confused. Myself included.
