Can You Believe It? Bitcoin Less Volatile Than Stocks

in bitcoin •  6 years ago

Well I thought I’d never see the day.

But it just came out bitcoin has been less volatile than the DOW, NASDAQ, and S&P 500.

Wow!

Over 2017 bitcoin went up over 1,200%.

And then in 2018 we’ve been down as much as 70%.

For anyone who’s been in crypto for any amount of time it’s always been a roller coaster.

So I think this is a great sign bitcoin can be less volatile than the markets.

Perhaps it’s telling us that the markets are a lot more risky than bitcoin.

I remain in both.

If you don’t have any bitcoin you should get some. It’s been shown to be uncorrelated to other assets.

Just think of it as stock market insurance.

Some people have a bad idea about cryptos but they they don't think that if cryptos can give you a 1200% profit in a single year then 70% loses is nothing. Just hold it more than 2-5 years without tension then I believe you will again gain more than 200-1000% profit. No bank can be able to give you such a huge profit like cryptos specially for Bitcoin.
