The other day I wrote about Indorse which touts itself as a the LinkedIn of the blockchain.
But they’re not the only company trying to enter this space.
The other is called the Ties.Network. It’s a distributed business platform that enables traders, investors, developers, consultants and others to find business partners. It considers itself a LinkedIn for the crypto community.
Ties.Network is interesting in that it’s like a LinkedIn plus AngelList.
From the platform you can offer services, enter deals with smart contracts, hire staff, advertise, finance projects and ICOs, and engage in public relations.
The Ties.Network also uses a rating system. Each user gets a rating after signing up based on activity in the crypto community and/or user provided documents.
There’s a token sale planned for the fall of 2017. Ties.Network will be selling 20,000,000 UMP at a rate of 400 UMP per ETH. The Ties.Network will run on the Ethereum blockchain, but could run on any blockchain that supports turing-complete contracts if needed.
To learn more check out this video with founder Alexander Neymark.
Now, one of the interesting things the Ties.Network is doing is trying to figure out how to store data on their network.
If you’ve been following Ethereum you know it’s blockchain is already bigger than Bitcoin’s. The question for Ties.Network is how to store the data offchain, tie it into the blockchain to make it immutable, and make it fast as well.
Ties.Network is looking into several solutions as detailed in the white paper.
There’s big potential for whoever can solve this problem.

Yeahif you can solve that problem just think of the possibilities. I think it would be another great blockchain leap forward that would implemented across the crypro world.
