Staking coins that pay out dividends

in bitcoin •  7 years ago

Does any one know what are all the staking coins? I have NEO and TenX pay tokens. I know those pay out dividends. I was wondering if you all knew of other tokens that pay out dividends. I just heard of Neblio and got some while these tokens are hot and It is during it's ICO. https://nebl.io?raf=ref2362675 for 10% extra if you want.

In order for a currency to pay interest rate in its own tokens, it either has to come from currency creation (inflation) or to come out of fees.
If it pays dividends in other currencies, the same question should be asked: where do the tokens come from and how?
The only case in which I was aware so far that a currency pays dividends in another currency, was the case of a hard fork, like recently with BTC and BCH.
How come NEO pays dividends in ETH?
Where does this ETH come from?
Is ETH inflationary? Will its amount grow forever like STEEM, DASH, Ripple and Monero? Or is it like Bitcoin and Litecoin? which will never surpass a certain amount?
Are all these currencies that pay dividends without a hard fork proof of stake?
Do they all function like DASH master nodes?
And in DASH, is every holder above the amount of 10k (or is it 100k?) necessarily a master-node? Or does one have a choice?

Most of them pay out the dividends from the fee cost from the transfers.
Neo pays dividends in GAS
TenX pay pays dividends in ETH from the fees from when users use the cards. (easier to pay in ETH because pay in an ERC20 token)
a proof of stake coin that I am interested in and is already paying out tokens to stake holders is an ICO by the name of Neblio.

if interested feel free to use my code.

Good points @fersher ,thanks

I don't think NEO pays dividend in ETH..

They do. Its in their white paper

I didn't realize NEO and TENX had dividends,,gonna check it out. Thanks..

TenX you must have in you own ETH wallet to get the dividends (payed in ETH) and NEO you much have in a neo wallet aka NEON to get paid out in GAS.

Thanks @getsome3000..appreciate the help!

If you signup with Kucoin Exchange you can hold Neo there and they pay dividends daily. Plus
if you hold Kcs token you get paid 50% of profits made!

OmiseGO (OMG) will pay out dividends as well, I have high hopes for this one.

Stratis pays out dividends if you put in a lot of money. PivX offers masternodes, just like Dash. Both also require a large investment to get dividends.

I believe Ethereum will in the future change it's process to staking as well, but this is still months off.

Listen to Pandora here folks... The background research supports this. Like the dummies ;) over at xrp said - most of these won't be left standing like all the defunct companies during the dotcom era... And just like the dotcom era we are literally 10 years too soon for all this. So it's a matter of p icking the ones who will still be standing. Choose the ones focusing as much as possible to monetize in the global commercial economy.

I knew that NEO had dividends, never knew of the others. I am happy i have learned from this post and comments.
