Hello! I think that we ll experience lot of turbulences until the arrival of some newest tech (evolution of blockchain maybe) which will replace the existant structures not only the Krypto's but the web's concept and consequently the existence of kryptocurrency. The quantum computer soon or late will replace the machines we actually use and then only hightech experts can say what could be the everyday life and how we ll make our deals. For now and near future i guess that bitcoin will stay at the top but i dont think it will overcome the threshold of 14000 $ on an annual basis (2018). I think that 2018 will be the year of altcoins and if you ask me to choose a few as 2018 champions, well i could mention the litecoin, the dash, ethereum has lot of chances to play a leader role during 2018, ripple also and the sleeping giants like iota, bitcoingold, bicoincash and the giants to be as steem, cardano, monero, eos... Bitcoincash, i think that its just a transitional version of the bitcoin used actually for the smooth decongestion of the bitcoin system and the best absorption of profits after the unexpected rapid climb of the demand of bitcoin. In reality nothing unusuall, on the contrary very predictable variation of the bitcoin's up and down if we follow the common sens and not trying just to feed our expectations beiliving in theories that cannot explain clearly the reality as it is shaped by the evolution of the cryptocoins. The fact is that actually the bitcoin cannot be used easily because of high fees, delays and above all extreme volatility to not mention the governments and brokers regulations etc... conclusion: for 2018 better be very carefull and patient before investing. Thanks for reading me, have a nice day and happy Christmas! I m not an expert nor a financial consultant, i just post an opinion which conserns the present time and the fluctuations of the market as i feel it. Also lets dont forget that the main objective of the majority of the Krypto transactions is to finally convert them in fiat currency especially dollars and euros. Some how we are involved in a game that most of people doesnt know the rules except the one comprehensible rule which is to turn this game beneficial... well... i really dont think thats good for poor people to invest anything yet...

I totally agree with your bottom line there... No one should invest more than they can afford to lose.,
