The information I provide below I give freely so that You may gain knowledge and wisdom. This knowledge I give is not astrology, witchcraft, or religion.
It's based on using the scientific method of:
- Making an observation;
- Asking a question;
- Forming an hypothesis
- Perform an experiment
A. Co-dependent variable- Bitcoin price
B. Independent variable- Total Lunar Eclipse - Analyzing data
- Forming a conclusion
Whether you believe in a Higher Power or not no one can deny that the sun, moon, and stars are for signs.
Many years ago when I was a young man I took an investment/trading course in college. It wasn't your ordinary course. No, the curriculum was heavily based on the works of the 20th century trader W.D. Gann and the art of technical analysis.
Since then I have lived my life and I put the charts down in 2006 to only pick them up again in 2013 when I found Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Or, shall I say, they found me because I wasn't looking for them.
At the end of this month the world will experience a natural phenomena. On January 31, 2018, A Blue Supermoon Lunar Eclipse will occur. It’s the first blue moon total lunar eclipse in the Americas since March 1866.
We can't measure the effect a blue moon lunar eclipse has had on Bitcoin because cryptocurrency didn't exist in 1866 but we can look at how a total lunar eclipse moves, or doesn't move, the market.
The earliest records I have of the Bitcoin market goes back to 2011.
There have been five (5) Total Lunar Eclipses since June, 2011. So we'll start with that one.
June 15, 2011
On June 14 Bitcoin top at $25.00. June 20 Bottom at $10.01.
Price: down -59.96%
December 10, 2011
Bottom on December 8 at $2.95. Top on January 12, 2012, at $7.38.
Price: up 250.17%
April 15, 2014
Top on April 16 at $548.00. Bottom on May 6 at 420.27.
Price: down -23.31%
October 8, 2014
October 5 low at $275.00. Top on October 14 at $417.99.
Price: up 152.00%
September 28, 2015
September 27 bottom at $231.16. November 4 top at $502.
Price: up 217.17%
In the previous 5 Total Lunar Eclipses the price of Bitcoin moved upward 3 out of 5 times (60%) an average 206.45%
Of those 5 times, 2 have resulted in an averaged downward movement of -41.64%
