The AMC movie chain now officially accepts Bitcoin for online payments

In what should be a surprise to no one, AMC finally made the leap.

They announced today they are officially accepting bitcoin payments online...

This really is a big nothing burger in my opinion as bitcoin doesn't really make sense to use for payments...

Why would I sell something that goes up in value over time for goods or services?!

Instead it makes more sense to hodl bitcoin and use some of that smelly fiat for recreational purchases... but hey, that's just me!
