JPM says bitcoin price is diverging from intrinsic value

in bitcoin •  6 years ago

Ironically people said that bitcoin has no intrinsic value.

What's more, I believe those same people were from JPM!

Oh well.

In this chart released from a JPM analyst, he says that the price of bitcoin has diverged from it's intrinsic value which is similar to what we saw in 2017.

Late 2017 in fact:

If history is any indication, we could have a lot more to go.

In 2017, prices started to diverge in mid 2017 and exploded by the end of the year.

Hopefully we see the same thing here...

That would likely mean parabolic again in the next couple months.

So intrinsic value of zero, it diverged at .001 then?

Sure. Though JPM claiming it even has any intrinsic value is new in its own right!

I do, thanks.

Guess I better read up on what they determine as intrinsic value 🤪

Yea I am not what it is either.

What do they mean about intrinsic value here? They're kind of intrinsic? :)

I am not sure honestly. I can't figure it out either.
