Great article! Definitely the crypto system has its critical questions, too. The forks are a bad thing, but inevitable when so many people with different interests participate. Also the centralization of the miners worries me, and I think we will see a lot of initiatives to resolve that, including alternatives to proof of work as this is simply not scalable to the degree of usage that we hopefully will see in the future.
