A privately owned bank can ban whatever they want. Those banks should keep this in mind though; when our government bans guns, and they do that often, the gun sales surge like no other during a ban. So if they want the public to flood into cryptos, then ban it. This is the exact reason we need bitcoin, because bitcoin will never tell you what you can and can not buy with your own money.
