KCN Hackers steal over $30 million worth of Ethereum from Parity wallets

Hackers have used a vulnerability in an Ethereum wallet to steal over 153,000 Ether, worth over $30 million. The hack was possible due to vulnerability in the multisignature feature of Parity wallets of 1.5 and next versions. Parity 1.5 was released on January 19, 2017. Parity wallet is an Ethereum client that can be integrated directly into a web browser and only those wallets were affected. The attack took place at the evening on 19th of July and was immediately spotted by Parity, the company founded by Gavin Wood, Ethereum's founder. The company issued a security alert on its blog.
