Preparing To Save Myself From Heartaches

Coinbase still down?

But why is tt not reflected here?

Okay, maybe it is not updated on Coinbase's official site yet.

So, maybe with this much of BTC holdings, a little responsibility should be put to practice?

Once Bitten, Twice Shy; Unbitten Before, Learn From Others' Fall

I think I would move my BTC out of Coinbase, once I am able to access...
Halfway through with writing about Mt. Gox's history and its implications for submission, I have decided to check my email on status inquiries with one of my Coinbase's accounts. It has been 6 weeks since I sent a request to Coinbase, and I am rather sad to say the result is, still nothing. To be fair, losing access to my email has nothing to do with Coinbase's services but I got pretty disturbed when I recalled Mt. Gox's first hack.

In the first hack, Mt. Gox got to play the role of the "savior" when they obliged to make good to the consumers who lost their BTC in the hack. After this "heroic" deed, Mt. Gox earns plenty of reputational brownie points which tugged the heartstrings of many BTC users. Hence even more BTC were parked with Mt. Gox... Until the tragic started. It was quite a good PR if the alleged truth about Mt. Gox hacking their own system is perfectly true.

Weeks Ago...

My other accounts with Coinbase were facing problems intermittently, such as not being able to send cryptocoins and long delays in sending even when it is a Coinbase-to-Coinbase action.

"Perhaps it is just my computer being such an antique..." I told myself. So I download Coinbase's app, logged in to one of my accounts and phew it seems fine. However, I start to see "unable to synchronise" prompt on an intermittent basis.

My emails to Coinbase were nothing less than nice, putting on my best sweet-little ladylike tone to ask for a request regarding issues with logging in, and this tonality has not changed even until now, as I am bugging them.

Findings...

Honestly, isn't this a little too low for a website like Coinbase?

Well construed yet far and few reviews like this, reminds me of Social Media Content Marketing...

As happy as any BTC user can be everytime BTC prices went up. But, still shaken by Mt. Gox's fall during BTC's high... Can't help but to feel worried as BTC price is $640+....Curiously asking, as I can't seem to find users' feedbacks about Coinbase on reddit which I have read last week... Is it just me?

Lastly, I'm not trying to be cynical about Coinbase, just because of my personal experience, plus the fact that I stand to lose my BTC too... It just seems that the air is a little fishy. I appreciate some analytical minds' feedback.

An article titled "Coinbase Review: 6 Controversial Issue You Have to Be Aware Of" is rather informative.
