Having trouble finding a way to buy cryptocurrencies

in bitcoin •  8 years ago  (edited)

I have been using bitcoin for some time now for purchases. I only really got somewhat into the swing of it recently, I had been exited about bitcoin for years, but its funny how good life is at distracting you. I was forced really to buy my first bitcoin. I needed a product, and could only get that product safely if I used bitcoin. So now I am comfortable buying bitcoins through certain websites like QuickBT and localBitcoins. This is nice if you are doing one or two transactions, but not Ideal if you are looking to profit. These sites buy bitcoins at market value and sell them for quite a bit more than they are worth. So where can I buy Bitcoins for market value? Well my searches have not been very successful. Maybe I don't know enough yet about these markets, But if anyone can help, please do, I will find out the answer to this problem, and post what I find, so that people can spend less time searching and more time acquiring.

I am located in Shelburne, Ontario, Canada

I prefer uphold.com nowadays. it's super convenient :)

Check to see if there are any bitcoin ATMs in your country/area with this map https://coinatmradar.com/

There will still be a fee associated but it should be less than lbc.
