Diversify. It couldn't be any simpler than that.

If you are a long term holder and you have trust in bitcoin, leave 50% of the money in it. Spread the rest among ETC, LTC (but wait for the price to drop a little due to the recent surge) and ETH.

    update, i ended up moving all my btc onto bittrex and got free bcc and had some fun in the 0.3-04 range :D
