Where is The Bubble !!

I have been holding BTC for several years
and I have heard several times that:
"Bitcoin is a Bubble"
I BGT at $300.00, $450.00, $750.00, $1800.00, $3000.00
Where is the Bubble !!
I don't understand why peoples every time speak about the bubble.

If bubble is defined quantitatively as an exponential increase
in price over a short period of time.
Then yes, it is a bubble.
From a qualitative perspective I do not think so.

Volatility all the time will be expected
but Bitcoin will continue to have an upward price.
Where is the Bubble !!

All of us know, Most current holders of Bitcoin, don’t want to sell their Bitcoin, so any increase in demand for Bitcoin tends to induce a large price increase, because there are not many sellers willing to meet this demand.

I would argue structurally it differs in key areas from true bubbles, with the continuing price swings reflecting a combination of low availability and lack of liquidity.

Near term Bitcoin has certainly been impacted by the positive self reinforcing loop that is a feature of all bubbles, so the continuing rise in price reflects what it takes to pry coins out of the hands of existing holders.

This explains why generally there has been a floor to all corrections, because most of holders believe:

"Bitcoin will change the world."

As long as this structure persists, Bitcoin will continue to have an upward price with substantial volatility along the way.

Where is the Bubble !!

Nope friend, I think it's a bubble and market correction will happen and BTC is going up to 7000 USD! But it will happen just after the next fork! That's how I feel it :D

I believe in bitcoin and blockchain tech, and I think that in the end, there will be a crypto bubble burst, from which several platforms are left standing, bitcoin being one of them. So it's not that BTC is the bubble. Just that this is the only way things can go when there is mass speculation about a new technology that still hasn't reached its full potential. I do think that BTC will emerge (with maybe a couple others) as a giant in this space, but many many others will flop in value.

Let's be real guys. Hodlers are not hodling because they believe bitcoin will change the world. They're hodling because there's a scarce amount of bitcoins, which means it'll only go up in price and will benefit hoarders.

This is the very same reason why it's not a good utility currency but rather an investment asset.

You know what I reckon : they talk about bubble because they are scared and weak to not take any risks and to be too rational. Most of the people I talked to them about crypto world were those kind of profile. And it's "trendy" and "classy" to say bubble because it sounds like they know what they are talking about .. and we both now that they don't. Bitcoin will go down eventually but that would be to go higher and better =)

What I've noticed is that everyone is certain that BTC is in a bubble, but hardly anyone I know owns any BTC. I mean I've literally only met one other person that owns BTC. When every square you talk to owns some BTC, then you'll know we are in a bubble, IMO.

I would argue that it depends on the future tech development. With the current limitations to Blockchains (mainly speed, costs, centralization of hashpower) one might see a switch to a new technologie f.e the tangle of IOTA. However btc seems to be the equivilant value of all altcoins and therefore I don't believe it will burst like a bubble, but it might stagnate as people move to newer tech sometime in the future. In the end we are only at the beginning of decentralized global network technologies and are only beginning to understand the implementations. Exciting times to live in for sure!
