PSA: Watch out for Bitcoin Cash (BCC) extraction/splitting scams (self.Bitcoin)

  1. Bitcoin Cash (BCC) does not exist and will not exist until August 1st, 8:20AM Eastern Time.
  2. Sending BCC will require use of your BTC private keys.
  3. Fake websites, wallets, and extraction/splitting tools will inevitably pop up.
  4. They will drain BTC with your private keys if you carelessly enter them into such websites/tools.
  5. Keep your keys, passwords, and seed words safe. Don't get taken.
