Good Morning Bitcoin.

And here’s what’s happening, Today in Bitcoin…
The hackers behind the NotPetya ransomware, which struck Ukraine especially hard, have moved their funds. They moved around $8,000 to another wallet and sent two small payments to online service providers PasteBin and DeepPaste. There is some suspicion that the hackers may work for Russia as the attacks seem more focused on destruction than collecting ransoms.
Bithumb, one of the world’s largest exchanges that you’ve never heard of, the fourth largest in volume and on Wednesday the first largest in volume, at which point it was promptly hacked. The hack was not fatal, infecting an employee’s PC, not the main server, but did however succeed in stealing some customer’s personal information, allowing some accounts to be breached by poor passwords. Billions of won have been stolen, which amounts to millions of dollars. No exact numbers have been provided.

Bitcoin is popular. So popular it’s selling out graphics cards all over the world. Even with new cheaper cards that lack display ports and have shorter warranties, the stores cannot keep them in stock, with customers buying as many as 8 cards at a time to build their home mining rigs. While likely mining ethereum and other alt coins, in the short term the cards may turn a spectacular profit due to the inflated prices of almost every coin in the market. However long term, one may learn the truth behind the gold rush. The real way to get rich is to sell the shovels.

Meanwhile….
The price of Bitcoin was down 0.75% in the last 24 hours, with a last or 2570, a high of 2590 and a low of 2508.
