Mining and High Yield "Investments"

Just a word of warning, in the last couple of weeks a number of websites popped up, promising huge returns, like 0.20% per hour, meaning ~5% a day. Both for depositing your Bitcoins or for investing in mining pools.

These are all Ponzi scams! All of them! Lasting perhaps 1...2 months, if not shorter. As soon as newcomers dry out they will cash in and run, and all your money is gone.

Characteristics of those:

  1. similar template based websites
  2. fake company registration paper (PDF) from UK with a fake virtual office address
  3. a track of small Satoshi payouts as proof that it would work
  4. website registered in the Carribean with anonymized data

So ask yourself, if you would give those scammers a single Satoshi or better show them your middle finger!

Even if some last a year or 2, you can never be safe...

These new waves last for max 1...2 months, simple scheme as in Ponzi, if newcomers dry out, they cash in and run. Only to open again in a week with a similar website template and a new name.

Just the same as wiredcoins and the other scammers use.
