Last year, the cute kittens of CryptoKitties made quite a stir in Ethereum Blockchain. Blockchain-based virtual game was so popular that it blocked the Ethereum network. Baidu, the Chinese search engine and artificial intelligence giant, came up with its own version of CryptoKitties. The only difference with CryptoKitties is that instead of cats, dogs. The blockchain-based game was named Leci Gou (Let's Go).
The project is being developed by a Blockchain lab, which is related to Baidu's Hyperlocker global Blockchain alliance.
The game is still being developed and in beta.

Similar to CryptoKitties, each dog has a unique genome cluster and dogs can be trained. These dogs can be trafficked and sold. At the same time a Blockchain network registers all transactions. There are now eight features to determine the uniqueness of each virtual dog as a result of their combination. The attributes include ordinary, unusual, remarkable, epic, mythological and legendary features.
Other dogs like DAPPs (Non-Centralized Applications) can only be purchased using Blockchain's own token. Scores can be collected using Baidu's products and spending can be done using Baidu's wallet. These scores are not available for further processing. The game also integrates a wallet feature for easy transactions between players.
According to Chinese news sources iFeng.com and Leiphone, Baidu has launched the general beta version of the game so everyone can download and play it. But the team is still working on game development.
In the meantime, AxiomZen is putting the famous CryptoKitties into the mobile platform. In a recent interview with Quartz, CryptoKitties founder Benny Giang explained that developers will launch next year's mobile version of games in China and Singapore (only at IOS). The launch date has not yet been determined.
However, since there is no effective crypto-currency trade in China, it is more difficult for Chinese players to reach the game than the other players in the world.
