This is awesome, but it gives me mixed emotions... ⬇️

So, a US city Virginia Beach has approved a Government Grant that is $500,000 to fund a mining operation. This is a win for multiple reasons, news like this solidifies the existence of Bitcoin and Crypto in general. This also brings awareness to people like me who has future aspirations of starting a Crypto Mining Operation one day, and it’s possible to get funding from a business perspective from the Goverment to support jobs and not just from a bank.
Where I have mixed feelings about on this comes from the “behind the scenes” legitimacy of this mining operation. More research needs to be done of course on things like, is this company ‘Bcause’ a start up? If not how long have they been around? Is this company already a Government entity?
Yes, I have many questions that need to be answered for my own sake as I’m not trying to start an investigation. There’s no need for that, I just want to start a discussion and see what you guys think.
What do you think it would take for someone to get approved for a $500,000 grant from the Government is your local city?
