The planned Bitcoin Cash hack was held, as expected, on August 1, as a result of which the bitcoin block was divided into two chains. There is also a new digital asset that has a common history with bitcoin, but is traded under another ticker - BCC or BCH.
APDATE 1: The first Bitcoin Cash block was found by the ViaBTC pool almost six hours after the activation, at 18:12 UTC. Details of the block are available by reference. The block size was 1.9MB, it contained about 7000 transactions.
