The team behind Ethermon Awakening has announced their plans to polish the game and add all kinds of new content. In the next four months the game will get a new adventure series, seasonal tournaments and PVE challenge modes. The Ethermon team announced their plans this Friday.
Ethermon Awakening was relaunched in 2019 as a spin-off of the popular Etheremon.com. However, the community was behind the relaunch of the game, and a completely new team maintains the game. Ethermon Awakening supports the old Ether Monsters and newer ones.
In the game players need to capture little monsters. These monsters vary in type, generation, form and individual powers. Players own these little monsters and are free to trade them. They can also use these monsters in battle, in which players can earn all kinds of rewards. For example, they can do quests, compete in ranked tournaments, practice or start the adventure mode.
Ethermon and interoperability
At the moment the Ether Monsters can't be used in any other game. Besides, the game also doesn't use any assets from other developers. Even though gamers can own these little monsters, they can't be used in other games yet. However, the development team will create an unique game mode which offers interoperability. When this new content will be added to Ethermon is not yet known.
The developers behind Ethermon are also - at least to some extend - involved in Chain Guardians. Therefore that will be the first game to will have a collaboration with Ethermon. The developers remain silent about other potential partnerships, even though they do acknowledge it's a possibility.
