Should government regulate crypto currency?

What is your opinion on government regulating crypto currency?

Crypto is a viable way of decentralization of government power as regarding the flow of money but with Government like south Korea, India, and China attempting to regulate crypto currency it has taken the centralization power to the government hereby defeating the whole essence of it.

Although it has it own advantages like helping to combat money laundry, fighting fraud and knowing the visual financial value of citizens.

But I strongly believe that crypto is the way.
