The UK Electronic Exchange will begin offering Bitcoin future service next month.

After the success of the Bitcoin futures contract, which is being implemented by two traditional US exchanges, a UK-based electronic trading platform is also intent on entering the market. However, unlike its US counterparts, the UK will provide the world's first real estate forwarding contract.

The London-based Coinfloor Exchange has just announced its new project on March 15th with an official announcement. Accordingly, Coinfloor will launch a new trading platform called CoinfloorEX dedicated to trading futures contracts for electronic money. With this new investment tool, the platform is intended to target hedge funds, trading companies, and professional investors, as well as electronic money-diggers.

By means of a physical settlement, Coinfloor will transfer the underlying asset (in this case, Bitcoin) to the maturity date of the contract. This is a newer form than the current services provided by CBOE or CME Group - where cash settlement is only made and no Bitcoin is transferred to the contract owner. More than that, Coinfloor said that paying for the original freight forwarding would make the process even more transparent.

As such, Coinfloor will be the fifth trading platform in the world to offer Bitcoin futures contracts, after CBOE, CME, Bitmex, and CryptoFacilities. Coinfloor's Bitcoin futures are scheduled to begin shipping in April.
