Many exchanges said they weren't going to support the hard fork. So how can the quantity of BTC and BCH be essentially the same?

Bitfinex has already announced it's distribution and keeping in view of demand other exchanges would do the same also investor with btc will receive the same number of bch tokens, although not all exchanges will accept them.

I will BCH price will explode as new investor would find it attractive and affordable compared to BTC, let's see what happens. Certain things aren't clear yet

It doesn't matter what the exchanges do.

BCH cloned the BTC blockchain, so every address has the same amount assigned on the new BCH copy of the chain as it did on the original BTC chain.

Everything on both chains after that original snapshot is independent of each other.

Thanks for an insight :)
