9 years ago, a revolution was sparked!

On October 31, 2008, a paper written by a person or group named ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’ released a white paper called “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.”
The document, an 8 page whitepaper written in crisp and clear english, which describes the revolutionary idea of the first ever peer to peer decentralised monetary system based on a trustless system, not requiring any central authority, came into existence.

Bitcoin was released to the public on January, 2009 shortly after, Hal Finney being one of the first adoptors.

“What is needed is an electronic payment system based on cryptographic proof instead of trust, allowing any two willing parties to transact directly with each other without the need for a trusted third party,” explains Nakamoto’s paper.

The Bitcoin Whitepaper is available on the official bitcoin.org website.

That event marked the beginning of one of the world's greatest revolution, and an innovation, which, even today shows no signs of stopping.

When the concept itself is no need of trust concept as it is based on some algorithms, people still ask how can we trust on this investment :) :)...Biggest irony :)

I can tell you the same way, fiat money holds no intrinsic value as such, look at the meaning of the word itself in Latin! Thats an even bigger irony. :) Previously all currencies were backed up by something or the other. Now, central banks have cut the link .....
