About seven and a half years ago, or 2747 days ago, a programmer in Florida named Laszlo Hanyecz purchased two Papa Johns pizza for 10,000 Bitcoins. And thus, we have the first Bitcoin transaction.
Then:
10,000 Btc = 2 Pizzas
Laszlo paid a man in England enough bitcoin to have the man in England call Papa Johns and order the pizzas. I wonder what toppings he got for something that would now be worth ~100 million USD.
Later, when asked about the pizza, Laszlo is quoted as saying “I don’t feel bad about it. The pizza was really good.”
But what's special about the pizza trade is that everyone can have a slice. Bitcoin is going mainstream. Bitcoin is here to stay. But if you have Bitcoin and want to get rid of it, there are options for you too, you may be able to get/make 10,000 pizzas for two Bitcoins.
Now:
2 Btc = 10,000 Pizzas
