Four Quick Takeaways from The Meetup
Tomorrow, I will write a detailed post about what I learned at the San Fransisco Bitcoin Meetup Forking Panel. However, since I am still pumped and running off of the adrenaline from the meetup, here are four things I took away from the meetup:
- Bitcoin is in a good spot. The overall atmosphere at the Bitcoin meetup was very positive and optimistic. I sense a strong future ahead.
- MANY new people are beginning to feel the "crypto bug." There were many new people at the meetup, trying to learn a little bit about this thing called "cryptocurrency."
- Steemit is well-known withing the Bitcoin community. I talked to a few knowledgable Bitcoin people and all had heard of Steem. Of course I took this time to discuss SteemEngine and how I am the 103rd ranked witness :)
- I am incredibly fortunate to be able to attend events like these. This Fall I will live in San Fransisco, walking distance from this meetup.
Stay tuned for the detailed post tomorrow!!! I learned some incredible things and feel like a much more knowledgable Bitcoiner. I hope to spread this knowledge to you all :)
