I think it is great for the future of ICO's as till now things have been a bit like in the Wild Wild West. In order to attract the pros, this space needs to be regulated. Cheers!

The SEC ruling was focused specifically on Initial Coin Offerings. However how do you think they will handle purchasing at retailers with say a Bitcoin? At this point how I understand it we have to track when it is exchanged for USD. But what about when it is exchanged for say shoes?

I'm kind of glad they finally did this. Stopping the dilution of new cash into the crypto market. Now it is going to concentrate into the existing coins, particularly bitcoin. And those that do ICO will need to be thoroughly developed and not garbage.
