How to BUY and SELL bitcoin in Nigeria

in bitcoin •  7 years ago  (edited)

I've had several horrible experiences with bitcoin between last year and this year in Nigeria and I just thought it will be nice to share with the newbies on Steemit so no one will get scammed when trying to sell off SBD.

Most people who don't know about cryptocurrency are coming into steemit.com because of its reward through likes (upvote) on post and currently the only way to spend SBD earnings from steemit in Nigeria is by changing it to bitcoin first then converting it to local currency.

Only one company in Nigeria is currently accepting BITCOIN as a means of payment and that is shopnow.ng apart from @shopnow_ng , no other company
or restaurant or hotel is currently accepting BITCOIN let alone SBD.

Currently there are several ways you can convert your bitcoin Into cash, but I'll share my top two ways.

luno

My first recommendation is LUNO

Luno makes it very easy and convenient to buy and sell bitcoin at ease. You can easily buy bitcoin with your atm card.

Avoid being scammed by unknown bitcoin sellers and buyers, use luno. Sign up for Luno and get NGN 100.00 worth of Bitcoin when you buy or sell NGN 5,000.00 (exchange excluded), click Here

Remitano

My second preferred way of selling and buying bitcoin in Nigeria is through Remitano. Click here

Good post. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I strongly advice people to only buy in to cryptos that have a solid background: A solid team, product, advisors, preferably VC investors, etc. Sell all cryptos that don't have this solid background. It's a waiste of money. Besides coinmarketcap.com there is: https://www.coincheckup.com Every single coin can be analysed here based on: the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model and much more. Check: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis For the Bitcoin Analysis.
