Being unable to pinpoint the perpetrators behind these ongoing cyber extortion attacks, the 'bad guy' has become the means of ransom: Bitcoin. And this is no coincidence.
False Flag Operation
For those of you who don't know, a false flag operation is designed to create a 'bad guy' by attacking the public in a way that motivates them to scream for action & revenge. Almost all wars are started in this manner, because without the support of the public, it won't be such an easy ride for those at the top.
This situation is textbook false flag. But what is particularly interesting here is that the various governments of the world...
- Will not be able to catch the perpetrators
- Will not be able to stop the attacks
- Will not be able to declare war on anyone
- Will not be able to reimburse anyone with their lost money
Which leaves Bitcoin as the perceived enemy.
The first I heard about it was from friends in the UK who said that the media was going mad about a National Health Care Hospital that had been attacked by a virus which held important files for ransom until the asked amount of Bitcoin had been paid into an anonymous account.
Stealing from an institute dedicated to helping the sick is of course the lowest of the low. And so it began...
Now the 'Wannacry' ransomware attack has hit more than 200,000 victims in at least 150 countries, as you can see below.
It is said to be the biggest attack of its kind. A 'Cyber Apocalypse' some are calling it.
The Bitcoin-loving villains are targeting hospitals, large companies and government agencies. And in each situation it is the same: if you want your data back, you must pay the Bitcoin ransom. And in a set period too...
So severe is the impact of this attack we have just been told here in Bali that there will be no money in the ATMs for the next few days. Maybe even longer.
This is a global push towards a desired end.
What is the goal?
The UK media plainly stated that the government had only two options:
- Make Bitcoin illegal
- Enforce strict regulations around the use of Bitcoin
Naturally, to make it illegal will do very little to stop someone using a VPN to set up his 100th Bitcoin wallet using a fake name, fake email address and a sim card which he will throw away after confirming the account.
So, the enforced regulation of Bitcoin is inevitable.
Without a clearly defined enemy Bitcoin has become the villain.
What effect will this have?
Bitcoin has been a growing thorn in the side of the banking system for some time now and their best efforts to stop it have failed.
So if you can't beat them, join them. And join them they have.
It is my belief that soon Bitcoin accounts will be illegal unless registered to a user in the same way that a bank might register a user on their system. You will need to provide passport details, proof of address, telephone number, bank statements, utility bills and who knows what else.
Sites found to be permitting unregistered Bitcoin account holders to make transactions will simply be shut down.
Forcing us into submission.
Ultimately the governments of the world want us to turn to digital money, but they want 100% visibility and they want to be in control.
They want to see the person behind the account and they want to have the ability to tax, monitor and potentially even freeze accounts if they choose.
The rise of STEEM
As an alternative to Bitcoin, Steem is perfect. It is upgraded tech and not yet popular enough to invest millions into the think tank behind what is going on with Bitcoin right now.
These are very interesting times we are living in.
And I am most interested to see what comes next...
Yes I agree about this, so if someone using dollar to do "money laundry". Can we blame dollar ? :)

Thanks for your comment here life-trail. I have been busy working on the Steemshop for the last few days and almost forgot i wrote this article! It's a mad situation going on here. But we always knew it was coming. And like I said, for us Steem users it does not present a problem. Especially once you can buy or sell anything you desire (including physical cash) from the Steemshop :)

It is certainly false flag. If the "powers to be" will go after Bitcoin, will most likely target other crypto currencies as well.
It is something they cannot control and most importantly cannot tax, hence the animosity against it. Every attempt to break free from their tentacles has been a disaster, see: Gadaffi's gold dinar.
How will it develop, only time can tell. All we can do is to raise awareness among the sheeple against the MSM propaganda out there.

Thank you for your comment here and sorry for the slow response. I have been working hard on the @steemshop account and its many moving parts for the last few days.
Your clear understanding of this situation is evident. And raising awareness is our duty now. Six months ago I started @steemtv with the intention of creating a decentralised documentary source page. We only made one documentary due to time constrictions. But this story feels as if it may well motivate me to make number 2!

Those ransomware attacks really put a bad name to Bitcoins. Governments have got another reason to regulate Bitcoins now.

You know it brother. It was always just a question of time before they found a way. Thankfully we will still have our Steem accounts... but I wonder how long it will be before they come for us too?

Steem, bitcoins, it's all the same for them. If they ban Bitcoins, then certainly other cryptos will die too.

Well written article. Many of us into Bitcoin had a feeling this was coming.
Check out my article from Monday where I hypothesised that Bitcoin would be targeted along with Internet freedom

True. That's why we write our key codes down on paper right?

Yes, it was always just a question of time before they found a way to make the people cry for regulation.
Problem - reaction - solution. Oldest trick in the book.
Thanks for the comment. And sorry I didn't have time to read your article (am busy running the @steemshop account) but you are clearly connected to the pulse of what it coming.
Let's hope Steem stays off their radar for a while longer!

It is possible that the government is behind the attack in order to stain the reputation of bitcoin. If so, can they not think of any better solution aside from destroying it?
Well anyway, steem is there to take its place.

That's it. Makes little difference to us Steemers :)
Especially when I get the @steemshop account working well as a buy/sell marketplace which doesn't involve having to sell your steem for bitcoin.

Good morning. I must admit that I have been slack on this front recently. The information is there but I must put it into a package which is easy to understand. As a Sundaya 'energy guru' you would be able to get great deals on bulk for reselling and ultimately the goal is to train more energy gurus who work through you but covering a different region, further increasing your profits.
I managed to damage my leg two days ago by falling into a roadworks hole which was not illuminated at night! And I am currently experiencing a lot of pain, which isn't helping much. But this is on my list and please keep reminding me if I don't get back to you soon. I really believe in Sundaya and the way this company will grow...

It's the same terrorists as usual.. The deep state. They play their same cards, the media, a new enemy to keep focus off them. If you still believe either Russia, or North Korea are doing any of this, I'm sorry your so gullible. It's the Mossad and the CIA. Period.

Yes, the rabbit hole goes deep. And the media machine is very powerful. But there is a revolution coming. Every empire falls. But from the ashes will emerge something new. And we will be there :)
